Did you know that 18 million people live in the Chesapeake Bay watershed? Are you one of those 18 million?
Clean the Bay Day is an annual event aimed at cleaning up the water and land used by millions of people each day in the Chesapeake Bay. We’ve collected hundreds of pounds of trash over the years, and hope to do so again this year.
Join us for a shoreline clean-up on Watch House Trail. Visitors enjoy this site for it’s fishing and for the beautiful views, but sometimes trash gets left behind. The shoreline clean-up will begin at 10 am, volunteers should meet at the Camp Store.
Closed toed shoes, gloves, and long sleeves and pants are recommended. Remember to dress for the weather, and bring along a reusable water bottle. ***Location Detail: Cam Store
