Discover the secrets of the park through Geocaching. Geocaching is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache out in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology, and then share the geocache’s existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS unit can then try to locate the geocache. You can use your own GPS unit or the GPS app on your phone, or you may rent one from the Visitor Center/Park Office. The prices for renting are as follows: half a day $6.00; full day $10.00. To begin your adventure pick up a Geocaching brochure from our Visitor Center or Discovery Center that lists the geocaches within the park. Go online to for more information on geocaching or locations of other caches found near the park.

Before heading out on your adventure make sure to have plenty of water, sunscreen, bug spray, and the proper footwear. Please use caution if leaving the main trail while in search of a geocache, to avoid contact with poison ivy and to minimize disturbance of plants or erosion. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled: you never know where a cache might be. ***Location detail: Parkwide More information:
