Come Explore the Garden On Wednesday Mornings
On a guided walk through the Garden, your little one will look for wildlife, listen to the wind and maybe touch a fuzzy thimble-berry leaf. Our wonderful guides will then read a story and help the children craft something fun. Each week is different with seasonal themes like frogs, raccoons, rainbows or the wind.
Due to the Upper Garden Development Project, Honeybee Hikes will now meet at the Manor House. Please park in the Creekside lot. The Claybroune entrance and lot will be closed.
Hikes are cancelled if Portland Public Schools are closed due to weather.
2-5 years old, each child must be accompanied by an adult.
This year, hikes begin Wednesday March 4, 2020 and end November 25, 2020.
- We start promptly and split into smaller groups as needed.
- For possible cancellations, please call or check main website.
- Please dress for the weather as we hike rain or shine.
