Paddles and Palettes

Do you enjoy both the arts and the outdoors? Join us for Paddles and Palettes, a new program that combines kayaking (a 2 hour, beginner-level paddle) and painting (1 hour of watercolor exploration)! Guests will first have the opportunity to go out on Mulberry Creek in sit-on-top kayaks with State Park interpreters, observing wildlife along the way. Next, guests will have the chance to create a small watercolor painting: one based on provided examples, a design of your own making, or just enjoy the properties of water and paint however you like! Both activities will be preceded by safety & other introductory-level instructions. All levels of paddlers and artists are encouraged to join!

Group limit of 10 participants. Masks are required when social distancing is not possible. Cost is $15/person. Pre-registration is required.

To register, stop by the Camp Store or call the Park Office. ***Location Detail: Car Top Launch
