The 1.15-mile long Atlanta BeltLine Southwest Connector Spur Trail winds through a serene stretch of woods, originating at the existing Lionel Hampton Trail, passing by Beecher Hills Elementary School, and emerging onto Westwood Avenue, providing improved mobility access through the Beecher Hills and Westwood Terrace neighborhoods. This completed portion is phase one of what will ultimately be a 4.5-mile spur trail that is part of the Atlanta BeltLine’s 33-mile trail network. Parking for the Southwest Connector Spur Trail is available along neighborhood streets near the trail, such as at the deadends of Bollingbrook Drive, Rogers Avenue and Westwood Avenue.
