Baylor Regional Park is situated in western Carver County on Eagle Lake. The park offers 50 camping sites. Thirty-five sites have water and electrical hookups and 15 sites are primitive. Other facilities include: picnic areas, showers, swimming beach, beach house, reservable picnic shelters, ball field, tennis courts, sand volleyball court, group camping area, horseshoe pits and an 18 hole disc golf course. Located at Baylor Park is the Eagle Lake Observatory, which is the main public outreach facility for the Minnesota Astronomical Society. The site consists of the Onan Observatory, the Sylvia A. Casby Observatory and the HotSpot Classroom. Public Star Parties are frequently held here.
