The Center for the Urban River at Beczak is one of the best spots along the Hudson to safely explore the river ecosystem. Its two-acre park features a welcoming riverfront lawn, an easily accessible tidal marsh, and a beach for river exploration. The Center (CURB) is an alliance of Sarah Lawrence College and the Hudson River Valley Environmental Education Institute.

Hours: Monday – Friday (Saturdays during River Explorers Programs) 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Weekend hours vary based on public program schedules and events.
The park is open to the public year-round until dusk.

Admission: CURB is open to the public. However we also conduct daily scheduled programs, so please call in advance to make sure no classes are in session. Admission to CURB is free. Donations are greatly appreciated.
