Bobell State Forest, also known as Chenango Reforestation Areas #10 & 30, is located in the Towns of Coventry and Greene in Chenango County. The two adjacent forests contain 2156 acres. The most common visitors are hunters and a few neighbors for hiking and horse riding. The contrasts of forest cover types and numerous points of access make exploring this rural county area interesting and relatively easy. Bobell State Forest is truly worth a visit.
