What was once an active farm and apple orchard became a public nature preserve following a generous land donation to Berks Nature in the late 1970s. Today, Berks Nature owns and manages the 30-acre property both for people and wildlife. The leisurely 1-mile trail loop is perfect for picnicking while the mosaic of woodlands, meadows, and successional fields creates a diverse array of landscapes perfect for birds (and birdwatching!).
