Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk.
One of Lane County’s top attractions, the 2,363-acre Howard Buford Recreation Area (HBRA) is a great place for hiking and contains the 200 acres Mt. Pisgah Arboretum. Mt. Pisgah, rising 1,531 feet above sea level or 1,000 feet above the Willamette River’s Coast and Middle Forks, which flow around its base. From the summit, hikers and equestrians can enjoy expansive views in all directions except to the north. There is a Native Plant Nursery run by Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah.
Parking Fees: $4 per vehicle year round. An annual pass may be purchased for $40. Annual passes can be purchased any time of the year at REI, Bi-Mart, or the Lane County Parks office.
