A gem in south Eugene, you’ll see eagles, owls, hawks and other raptors close-up. CRC’s Mission is to preserve a healthy, viable population of birds of prey and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Through wildlife rehabilitation and public education, CRC fosters a connection between people and birds of prey. Our goal is to help the human part of the natural community learn to value, understand, and honor the role of wildlife in preserving the natural and cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest.
The Center has dedicated the new hospital to retired founder and Executive Director Louise Shimmel.
