Genesee Mountain offers a 360-degree view at its 8,284-foot summit, with the Mount Vernon Canyon below. Bald Mountain, at 7,988 feet, is a prominent point on the north side of the park. The low point of Genesee Park is 6,280 feet at the bottom of Clear Creek Canyon. Genesee Park includes: Stapleton Drive and Rainbow Hill, Chief Hosa Lodge and Campground, a Denver concession, and the Patrick House, a toll station in the park for collecting tolls from teams and stagecoaches at the onset of the gold rush, and a stone shelter constructed in 1939 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, are historic structures in Genesee Park.
