Grant Park was the setting for many scenes in children’s books by Beverly Cleary, and the park features the Beverly Cleary Sculpture Garden for Children. Park features also include: baseball field, basketball court, disabled access play area, disabled access restroom, dog off-leash area, football field, fountain, paved paths, reservable picnic tables, playground, soccer field, softball field, statue or public art, tennis courts, track, and water play feature (summers).
