The Green Briar Nature Center is a sanctuary of peace and beauty throughout the seasons. It is located on the shores of Smiling Pool and adjacent to the famous Briar Patch of Thornton Burgess’s stories. Green Briar is also the home to the Dr. Shirley G. Cross Wildflower Garden and a number of small resident animals… it is a wonderful place to bring the family!
Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and some other holidays. Check calendar online for regular open days, depending on season.
Admission: Suggested donation of $5/adult and $3/child; Free for members
