The heavily-wooded park adjoins the Sam Houston National Forest and encloses the 210-acre Lake Raven. The park offers camping, hiking, biking, boating (Boats must be less than 19 feet long; speed is limited to idle speed) , miniature golf, horseback riding, fishing, swimming in unsupervised swimming area, boat rentals, and nature study.
