The L.C.Bates Museum with its Arboretum and nature trails is a wonderful place for learning about the northern New England wildlife and habitats. The museum has collections and exhibits of birds, mammals, marine life, fish, reptiles, and insects. The museum offers many family and children’s nature activities in the museum classroom and outdoors.
