Not only is Mallards Nest Natural Area along an enjoyable section of Spring Creek Trail, but, as its name suggests, it’s a good place for duck-watching. The mallard’s typical “quack, quack, quack,” blends melodically with the restful sounds of the flowing creek. About 0.4 miles of the paved Spring Creek Trail go through Mallards Nest Natural Area.
