Milford State Park rests in the middle of one of the state’s largest public areas – an 18,000 acre wildlife area operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. At 16,000 surface acres, the lake itself is the state’s largest. Its central location and proximity to Junction City and Manhattan make it a favorite spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
