Located in Carroll County, the Morgan Run N.E.A. is comprised of approximately 2,000 acres of natural area. Hiking and equestrian trails are popular. Equestrians are restricted to specific trails. The Morgan Run is available to trout fisherman as a catch and release trout stream.The Maryland Park Service does not rent horses, and only provides the trails as a means of recreation. A wheelchair accessible platform for fly fishing is available to anglers at Morgan Run Natural Environment Area.
