Northmoreland Park, 548 acres in size, is the largest Westmoreland County Park. The Northmoreland lake is stocked by the PA Fish Commission and includes both warm water fish and trout. The lake walkway makes a complete circle around the lake for a total distance of 1.1 miles. The nearby indoor Activity Center, playground, pavilion and the hiking and walking trails also help to make the lake the most popular destination for park visitors. The park also has a BMX track, premier ball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, a shuffleboard court, plays areas and a basketball court. Portions of the park are open for hunting and there is a model radio-controlled airfield. Many picnic pavilions are available for rent.
