The Oregon Trail Reserve is a 66 acre reserve located in east Boise. This area was made a reserve in hopes to ensure that the Oregon Trail remnants in southeast Boise would be preserved and interpreted for the public. A local developer has completed trail improvements as part of a land exchange process with the City of Boise that expanded the boundaries of the Oregon Trail Historic Reserve by 13 acres and finished a long-planned pathway connection between the reserve park and surrounding neighborhoods.
