There is a tropical rain forest to visit and penguins to watch ‘flying’ underwater. A shipwreck journey around the world is available in the Islands of Life building. Children meet friendly farm animals in the Pioneer Ranch and watch northern river otters swim and frolic underwater. Home to over 425 animals of 130 species, the Zoo is managed by the Pueblo Zoological Society and accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA).
