You’ll be taken in by this preserve’s rolling hills and scenic vistas. Two fishing piers extend onto 33-acre Timber Lake inviting you to cast a line or just enjoy the view. Two separate entrances and trail systems are divided by Timber Lake. The main Raven Glen entrance is on Route 45 south of Route 173 and east of the lake. This section of the preserve has a 2.1-mile gravel trail for hiking, bicycling and cross-country skiing, a separate grass trail for horseback riding only, and a 0.4-mile woodland walk for hiking only. There’s also picnic tables, a water pump, an overlook, a toilet and a horse trailer parking area. The Raven Glen West entrance is on Route 173 west of Savage Road and west of the lake. It offers a 2.12-mile trail for hiking, bicycling, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. Trails east and west of Timber Lake do not connect.
