Robinson Preserve is located in northwestern Bradenton, in the Palma Sola area, across the street from the Palma Sola Botanical Gardens. Robinson Preserve also features numerous recreational opportunities for the community. Resources for low-impact environmental activities include hiking and biking trails and a canoe/kayak launch. Fishing is available throughout the preserve, subject to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission regulations. Additional amenities include observation towers and platforms, picnic areas, and a visitors center. The new Mosaic Center for Nature, Exploration, Science and Technology (NEST) is open for specific programs and events. Nestled among trees and other plants, Mosaic NEST—designed to look like a giant treehouse—will host learners of all ages and invite them to explore nature in this one-of-its-kind classroom.
