A variety of habitats, including wetlands, woodlands, meadows, fields and a lake. Carriage paths traverse the park, leading into shady river lanes, intimate wooded paths and panoramic vistas. The preserve is ideal for strolling, jogging, cross-country skiing and horseback riding. Nature enthusiasts enjoy birdwatching, photography and sketching. Anglers will find the lake an excellent fishing spot. The Visitor Center hosts exhibits of local and historical interest.
