This 8.4-mile county-operated trail links with the Gandy Dancer Trail near Superior and continues into Minnesota. The entire 8.4-mile trail is open to hikers, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, horses, off-road bikes, and cross-country skiers. Wild raspberries and many kinds of flowers grow along the trail. The surface is rough railroad ballast. 207 acres
