Home of the exceptional Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium. Also the site of the state’s first fish hatchery (1882), the old hatch house is now a fish management museum, and there is an interesting geologic display nearby. The picnic areas offer spectacular views of the countryside, and there is a 3-mile nature-hiking trail divided into two 1 -mile segments.
