State Park: Bike, Birding, Camp, Hike, History, Horse, Picnic, Playground, RV, Walk, Water Sports
Some consider this a crown jewel of Oregon state parks, with the Canyon Trail visiting 10 waterfalls along Silver Creek. An amazing part of the trip is the walk behind several of the falls. This park is in the lower elevation of Oregon’s Cascade Mountains in a temperate rain forest covered with ferns, mosses, and wildflowers. There are also stands of Douglas fir, hemlock, and cedar. The park is large enough to find many places of solitude in spite of its popularity (see park site for maps and more details).
And nearby is the Silver Falls Lodge & Conference Center (Sublimity, Oregon)
Services Provided Since 2014: Full Group Events, Weddings, Lodging, Cafe and Dining hall.
