Nature Center, Nature Preserve: Birding, Hike, Nature Education, Walk, Wildlife
Teatown is a 1000-acre nature preserve and education center located in the Lower Hudson Valley. Our mission is to inspire our community to lifelong environmental stewardship. Trails are open daily from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Teatown maintains fourteen trails (15 miles total) that traverse diverse terrain and habitats, including abundant fields, mixed hardwood forests, laurel groves, lakes, streams, swamps and farm land. Stop at the Visitor’s Center to grab a map of the trails, shop at the Nature Store, visit our exhibits and take a rest after a long hike. Open Daily, 9am—5pm, 7 days a week. To help manage increased visitation to our preserve during peak periods, Teatown will charge $5 to non-members for parking Friday through Sunday, and on holidays. We appreciate our members, who will always park free. Parking passes for members are available in the Visitor Center.
