Nature Center: Hike, Nature Education, Walk
Trailside Nature Center and the adjacent stone slide were designed by Carl Freund and built by the Federal Works Project Administration with work completed in 1940. The interior of the Trailside was recently renovated to include a children’s museum and handicap access meeting room for nature education programs.
