Zoo: Walk
The Utica Zoo is your learning and leisure place! Where else can you feel the spines of a hedgehog, or the dry scales of a snake, or have lunch with a sealion? We are here to teach you about conservation and wildlife! We offer classes and activities for adults and children. You can touch a tiger’s whisker (don’t worry, it’s not attached to the tiger!) or try on a pair of eagle’s wings. Children will love the hands-on activities and crafts the docents dish up. Want to become a part of your zoo? You can become a docent (a volunteer teacher)!
