The Land Trust has preserved and currently manages over 6,100 acres. Volunteers created and maintain 42+ miles of public trails on three nature preserves each larger than Central Park and all within Huntsville city limits. The Land Trust offers guided seasonal hikes, environmental education, “Tuesdays on the Trail” summer programs for kids, “Members Only” outings, and events such as the “Spring Concert at Historic Three Caves” and the popular “Moon Over Three Caves Dance” in September.
