This site includes the Museum’s collection of live animals, interactive exhibits and trails. Head out to the trail for a guided hike along woodland paths. Visit the Hall of Animals where there are many live native animals on exhibit. An outdoor picnic area is available. The Wildlife Education Center is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm. Admission fee, free for Museum Members. The Meet the Animals Program (included in admission) is every Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm when the center is open. The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum is a private non-profit institution dedicated to the natural and the cultural history of the Hudson Highlands. Hudson Highlands Nature Museum operates two facilities, the Outdoor Discovery Center and the Wildlife Education Center. The Outdoor Discovery Center is located south of 99W, on Muser Road, off of Angola Road (Rt. 9).
